Noah Cohen’s first pro model, the Hatchet is a high-performance shortboard with a bit of hidden volume. The shorter length and extra foam allow you to rip turns or punt airs in any little curve a wave has to offer. Noah rides the Hatchet in waves from 2 feet to head-and-a-half, usually preferring it in with a squash tail. He also goes with XTR construction for its lightweight, high-performance qualities. Its shape is best ridden about 2” shorter than your height; if you choose to go even shorter in length, be sure to go a bit wider and thicker to make up for the missing foam.
